Casualty

United Insurance Company provides up to $1.5 million of capacity to Aon Insurance Managers captive clients mainly for the layer between the captive retention and/or original deductible and the first umbrella layer also called the "buffer" layer. United provides coverage for Workers' Compensation / Employers' Liability, Automobile, General and Products Liability. In addition, capacity can be offered for the lead umbrella or as capacity in high excess layers.

United can provide capacity for either reinsurance of the Captive or of the primary fronting carrier. United's minimum attachment point for excess casualty business is typically not less than $250,000. This, however, is subject to underwriting consideration. Coverage is available either on a stand alone basis or in conjunction with coverage provided by United's subsidiary company, Nexus Reinsurance Company - a primary pooling facilitator. In addition, United's relationships with the facultative markets enables them to secure additional capacity as and when required.

Since 1977 this facility has proved to be an extremely valuable and stable market, regardless of the cycles of the commercial markets. It appeals to those looking for stable capacity at a fair price.
