UIC Bermuda Limited was incorporated as a subsidiary at the beginning of 2006 to represent United Insurance Company in Bermuda.

UIC Bermuda is a marketing and contact office used to promote United to it's clients and prospects while they are physically in Bermuda. Bermuda is both the world's largest offshore reinsurance market and the world's largest captive domicile. It draws large number of key prospective insurance buyers, which in turn generates significant underwriting opportunity for United.

United's appetite and capacity for buffer layer reinsurance coverage to Aon managed captives neatly supplements the excess layer capacity of the Bermuda marketplace.

United's presence in Bermuda has been very successful with a meaningful contribution to United's overall growth since its opening.
